A police officer said that the incident took place in Nakur area on Monday evening when a police team led by Abheta outpost in-charge Narendra Bhadana had come to arrest Javed alias Tikku, a criminal wanted under the Narcotics Act, from his village Ghatampur. . When the police was taking him into custody, his associates attacked him. His official vehicle was damaged. Started beating them all.

Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sagar Jain said, “The attackers surrounded the police vehicle and also threw chilli powder in the eyes of the officers. Six officers including Sub Inspector Anju Singh were injured in the attack and Javed was rescued by his supporters. Police Called additional forces and upon their arrival the attackers fled, a case has been registered against 31 identified and 25 unidentified criminals.

SP said that women were also included among those who attacked the police. Videography of the incident has also been done by the police. Efforts are being made to identify the accused seen in the video and arrest them. Police have arrested six people, including three women, Haruna, Mehrana and Shahreen, all of whom are related to a male suspect. Preparations are underway to present the arrested accused in the court and send them to jail.

At that time, the accused attacked the police team with sticks that had gone to investigate the case registered in the land dispute. Actually, a case of land dispute was registered on July 13 in Gorari village of the area in Baburi police station of Chandauli district. There was a clash between Lakshan and Yashwant Chauhan of the same village. In connection with the investigation of this case, Inspector Aslam Shah posted at Baburi police station had come to the village with his team for investigation. Meanwhile, the brawler Yashwant came there with his family members. His entire family got into a tussle with the police personnel.

The policemen tried to convince him but he did not agree and attacked the police team. Four policemen were injured in this incident. On this matter, Additional SP Vinay Kumar Singh had said that SI of Baburi police station Mohd. Aslam Shah had gone to Gorari village with three policemen.
