The command of Delhi has now fallen into the hands of Aatish. Aatish was sworn in as the third woman Chief Minister of Delhi. She became the youngest of the three women Chief Ministers of the capital. Aatish was sworn in as the eighth Chief Minister of Delhi by Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena.

Atishi came to Raj Nivas in a blue saree to take oath as chief minister. Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal also came to Raj Bhavan with him. Kejriwal also often wears a blue shirt. After taking the oath, Atishi touched Kejriwal’s feet and took blessings. Before this program, Atishi had gone to the CM’s official residence to meet Kejriwal.

Saurabh Bhardwaj was the first to take oath in Atishi’s new council of ministers, followed by Gopal Rai, Kailash Gehlot, Imran Hussain and the new member of the Delhi cabinet, Mukesh Ahlawat. However, Atish’s tenure will be short as the assembly elections will be held in the national capital in February.
