All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday attacked the BJP over the riots on the day of the Uttar Pradesh by-election. He said AIMIM workers were targeted after filing false cases in Kakrauli village in Meerapur seat. There were reports of stone-pelting at a police station in Kakrauli village on the day of polling.

Asaduddin Owaisi said AIMIM workers were being targeted with false reports. At least 80 workers have been booked. During this period, he also targeted Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He said – This is not management by Yogis but mismanagement. Polling for the by-election to Meerapur constituency of Muzaffarnagar will be held on November 20.

There was an uproar between AIMIM and SP

A brawl broke out between supporters of the Samajwadi Party and AIMIM in Kakroli village during the by-election in Meerapur constituency of Muzaffarnagar. When the police arrived after receiving the news, both sides threw stones at the government. Meanwhile, the police have since had to resort to force to quell the situation.

During this time, workers accused police of preventing voters from casting their ballots. However, the police clearly denied this claim. In this case, a case has been registered against Samajwadi Party and AIMIM supporters for hurling stones at the police. Meanwhile, the AIMIM chief has pressed the Uttar Pradesh government on this.

Asaduddin Owaisi attacked this through his previous post. He wrote: “AIMIM workers were targeted in Meerapur’s Kakrauli village by filing false cases. At least 80 workers have been booked. Women who stood up bravely against police hooliganism during the elections have also been slapped with false accusations. This is not Yogi’s Management, but mismanagement.
