Recently he had commented about Prabhas’s acting in Kalki 2898 AD. According to him, Prabhas looked like a joker. Film maker Ajay Bhupathi did not like this. He vented his anger on Arshad.
Arshad got jealous
Director Ajay Bhupathi, known for directing films like RX 100 and Mangalwaram, has linked Arshad’s opinion to a feeling of jealousy. Ajaj vented his anger on Arshad and also praised Prabhas a lot.
Ajay wrote in his x post – Prabhas is the person who has given everything to take Indian cinema to the international audience. And they are ready to do anything. He is the pride of our country. We can see the irritation in your eyes over that film, because you have faded and no one pays attention to you.
Expressing his displeasure, the director further said – There is a limit and a way to express one’s opinion. It seems that what you said about him is you.
Arshad had called Prabhas a joker
Let us tell you, Arshad had given his opinion on Kalki film in the podcast of Unfiltered with Samdhish. Arshad had praised Amitabh Bachchan but raised questions on Prabhas’s performance and said – Prabhas, I am really very sad, why was he like Joker? Why? I want to watch Mad Max. I want to see Mel Gibson there. What have you done, I can never understand why they do this.
Talking about Kalki, the film 2898 AD also featured Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani along with Prabhas-Amitabh. Made under the direction of Nag Ashwin, the story of this film was taken from Mahabharata. The film was liked very much by the audience.
