The company has not yet given any information about this phone, but all the details from its specifications to launch date and photos are coming out on social media. Recently the details of its camera configuration have been leaked. Let’s know what will be special in the iPhone 16 series.
Leaked camera features
According to the report of AppleInsider, iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will have primary camera with 2X zoom. Along with this, the company will provide ultra wide angle lens, which will come with 0.5X zoom. If reports are to be believed, a new image format JPEG-XL will be seen in the iPhone 16 series.

Along with this, users will also get the already existing HEIF, JPEG, HEIF Max, ProRAW and ProRAW Max. In iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, we will get vertically aligned camera setup. It will have a 48MP primary camera, which will come with f/1.6 aperture.
Along with this, the company can provide micro photography feature in non-pro models. Earlier this feature was available only on Pro models. There will be no change in the camera configuration of the Pro variant. In this we will get 48MP main lens, 2X optical zoom and 12MP telephoto lens.

What will be special in the iPhone 16 series?
A capture button can be given in the upcoming iPhone 16 series. This button will be on the lower right corner. This feature will prove to be very beneficial for clicking landscape photos. Users will also be able to customize this button. Clicking the button will open the third party camera app of their choice.
Apart from this, it can also work as a trackpad. We will see many changes on the software front, which the company showed in the iOS 18 release. If the leaked reports are to be believed, the upcoming iPhone 16 series can be launched on the 10th of next month i.e. 10 September.
