Tad fights back on cash scandal, informs Hag Rahul and Sule
BJP general secretary Vinod Tawde, accused of distributing money during elections, has addressed Rahul Gandhi and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and person to issue a legal notice. In a legal statement, Tad said all three of you should apologize if evidence of the allegations against me is provided.
Tad said he would file a defamation lawsuit in court if he did not apologize. The defamation notice is worth Rs 100 crore.
What is included in the legal notice?
Vinod Tawde said, I have been in politics for 40 years and so far I have not been accused of any corruption. I have been involved in politics in a simple way all my life. The accusations against me regarding the events of that day are false.
Todd said in his notice that there are attempts to tarnish my image through false accusations, so please provide proof of these things or an apology. Failure to do so would result in a defamation claim of Rs 100 crore.
What is this whole thing about?
On November 18, Vinod Tawde sat in a hotel in Virar, Nalasopara, to hold a rally. Meanwhile, local MP Kshitij Thakur of Bahujan Vikas Aghadi reached there. Thakur and his supporters alleged that Tad was distributing money in the hotel. During this time, Thakur’s supporters surrounded Tad.
Bahujan Vikas Aghadi President Hitendra Thakur said in a statement that we received information that Vinod Tawde was distributing money, after which our supporters went there. Our supporters recovered Rs 9 lakh from there and handed it over to the government.
Thakur further said that a diary was also found during this period in which these transactions were mentioned. Vinod Todd said he was holding a meeting of workers during the entire incident.
After the riots, the Election Commission registered an FIR. The move was accused of breaching the code of conduct.

Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge raised questions over the viral video of Vinod Tawde. Rahul raised the issue by asking from which safe house did this money come?
In his post, Haq said why no action was taken against the BJP leaders who distributed Rs 5 crore? Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate held a press conference on the entire incident.
