Giving information about this case, Gwalior Superintendent of Police Dharamveer Singh told PTI that the main accused has been identified as Mayank Bhadauria. He was wanted in connection with the Anita Gupta murder case and the police had also announced a reward of Rs 20,000 on him.

Superintendent of Police Dharamveer Singh further said that information was received about Mayank Bhadauria being seen in Shankarpur area of ​​the city. After which a police team immediately reached the spot and tried to catch the accused, but in the meantime he escaped on his motorcycle. Meanwhile, he also fired at the police team with an illegal weapon. In which the people of the police team narrowly escaped.

Responding to this act of vicious criminal Mayank Bhadauria, the police also opened fire. In this retaliation, a bullet hit the leg of wanted criminal Mayank, after which the police caught and arrested him. Later he was taken to the government hospital for treatment. The police will interrogate him after he is discharged from the hospital.

Let us tell you that on July 29, Mayank Bhadauria, along with one of his associates, shot and killed Anita Gupta in Madhoganj area. The real motive behind the murder is not yet clear. Actually Mayank Bhadauria is a habitual criminal.

Mayank’s other associate Akash Jadaun, who was involved in this murder, was also arrested by the police after a brief encounter on August 2. He was injured in the firing and was admitted to the Government Medical College and Hospital. Police had received information about Jadaun’s whereabouts and they chased his motorcycle on Shivpuri Link Road in Kampu police station area.

According to the Superintendent of Police, when the police team went after him, the accused stopped his motorcycle near the railway track and opened fire on the police and then when the police retaliated, he was injured and the police arrested him. Had taken. Earlier, the police had also arrested an accused named Shubham in this case.

SP said that vicious criminal Mayank Bhadauria was also involved in many other cases of murder, robbery and dacoity in Uttar Pradesh. He is a resident of Bah town in Agra district of Uttar Pradesh and was living in a rented house in Gwalior.
