Chaos once again erupted at the Shambhu border in Punjab and Haryana on Saturday. Farmers tried to march to Delhi in support of their demands, but police fired tear gas at the protesters. Following this, the protesting farmers postponed their march to Delhi on Saturday. Punjab farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandel told reporters that both the forums had decided to “call their ranks back”. Pandel said 17 to 18 farmers were injured in the operation of Haryana security personnel.

He used this to declare further incitement. Pandel said that on December 16, tractor parades will be held across the country except Punjab. Rail roko event will be held in Punjab on December 18 from 12 noon to 3 pm. No group will travel to Delhi before the 18th.

Sarwan Singh Pandel said that India today is the fifth superpower in the world. Prime Minister Narendra Modi used force against 101 farmers. While the SP of Ambala district was talking to farmer leaders, chemicals were used in the Ghaghar river. The whole world saw this.

He said, on the one hand you speak and on the other hand you use force. Now people should tell who committed the violence. Tear gas bombs were thrown at our stages and playgrounds. What is the government’s intention in doing this? About 10,000 people came today and used force against ordinary people. 17 people were injured. Many farmers are serious.

Farmer leaders will unveil next steps on Sunday

Sarwan Singh Pandel said that even today we will not get a reply from the Centre. Is a group of 100 people a threat to the peace of the country? You are discussing the Constitution in Parliament. The highway has been closed for 10 months, the fort is being built, what is the constitution here? He said that the ruling party and the opposition parties are playing together. Not raising our voices.

Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher said no group would travel to Delhi before the 18th. Farmers from Haryana will also be included in the next batch of farmers to migrate to Delhi. The farmers had tried to march towards Delhi on December 14 (today) but failed after police action.

Sarwan Singh Pandel slams government

He said that we will hold another press conference at 11 am on Sunday to inform the injured farmers. Expired tear gas canisters were fired at us over a year ago so there would be no record. Rubber bullets were fired today. He said a decision would be taken by both forums whenever possible. The next batch will be sent in advance. There will also be farmers, mothers and sisters from Haryana among them.
