In Begusarai, Bihar, a man angry over intercaste love shot his sister’s lover in the chest. People immediately admitted the injured to the nearest hospital. It is being told that the condition of the injured still remains critical and he is undergoing treatment. At the same time, the police, while disclosing the case, have arrested the girlfriend’s brother with a weapon.
In fact, on the evening of August 2, near NPS Sonma East of Bakhri police station area, two miscreants riding a bike shot and seriously injured Mumtaz, 23 year old son of Mohammad Ilyas, resident of Sonma. Regarding this incident, SP Manish had formed a team under the leadership of Bakhri DSP Kundan Kumar, which after technical and manual investigation has arrested Rakesh Kumar, a resident of Garhpura village, who was involved in the incident.

Brother was angry with sister’s love affair
Police have also recovered a pistol and cartridges from the accused. SP Manish further told that there was a dispute a few days ago between the injured Mumtaz and the arrested accused Rakesh Kumar. The reason for the dispute has come to light that injured Mumtaz was having an affair with the sister of accused Rakesh Kumar. Angered by this, Rakesh even had a fight with Mumtaz.

Mumtaz was also warned not to talk to her sister. Due to this love affair, on the evening of 2nd August, when Mumtaz was standing near Nirmit College, Rakesh arrived with one of his companions and shot and injured Mumtaz. In an injured condition, Bakhri DSP Kundan Kumar, after providing first aid in Bakhri in his vehicle, admitted him to Sadar Hospital Begusarai, where he is still undergoing treatment.
