This means your experience with your smartphone will soon change. Over the past few months, leaks about Android 16 have been popping up, and smartphone users have been eagerly awaiting it.
Google officially confirms that Android 16 is coming soon. Recently, information related to the rollout of new Android updates was shared on the developer blog. Google will launch the upcoming version of Android in early 2025.
Android users will get the update soon
If you don’t know, then let us tell you that every year Google releases new Android software updates in either the third quarter (i.e. the first three months of the year) or the fourth quarter (i.e. the first four months of the year). During this time, the company can show off its new Android 16 to users. However, it is believed that users may receive the update before the third or fourth quarter.
The information was shared in a post on the Android Developer Blog that the company’s Android 16 is likely to launch in the second quarter of next year (i.e. April to June), with another minor update version to be released in the fourth quarter of 2025, More major updates will be released.
