Peacocks protect the village
There is a village in Andhra Pradesh that is protected not by people, dogs or animals, but by peacocks. Many villages in Hanumanthunipadu and Velikandra mandals in the state are close to forest areas. In this situation, snakes, scorpions, mandagaba and other poisonous insects often come to the village to bite people, causing people to feel frightened when they wander around the village at night. However, over the past few years, peacocks have been protecting the villages, so such cases have decreased. The national bird peacock has become Gudipatipalli in Veligandla mandal, Kattakindapalli village, Hanumantunipadu mandal ) of the village of Mangampalli.
It is understood that a few years ago, some young people in the village went to the forest to herd cattle. He found five eggs in the forest. Although the eggs looked big, he took them to the village. In such a situation, when the peacock egg breaks and the peacock comes out as a chick, the villagers are frightened after seeing it. It was believed that if peacocks were kept in the village, the forest officials would be in trouble. Nonetheless, he left the peacock in the village, and over time, the baby peacock grew up.
Peacocks have been living with humans for the past decade
For the past ten years, Peacock has been meeting people in the village and living with them. Since there are peacocks in the village, snakes, scorpions, scorpions, datura and other animals no longer appear. The happiness of the villagers knows no bounds. The villagers feed the peacocks grains as food on time. At the same time, peacocks no longer take the forest trails, but roam around the village, guarding like security guards to prevent poisonous insects from entering the village. If anyone tries to hunt a peacock or comes from outside the village, the villagers punish him severely.
