Prime Minister Modi visits Kuwait
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is about to leave for Kuwait for a two-day visit. Prime Minister Modi’s visit is also special because it is the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Kuwait after 43 years. Prime Minister Modi will visit Kuwait from December 21 to 22. Prime Minister Modi visited China at the invitation of Kuwait Emir Sheikh Meshaal Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
What will Modi do in two days?
Prime Minister Modi’s special plane will take off for Kuwait at 9:15 am. Prime Minister Modi will arrive in Kuwait in 2 hours and 20 minutes, at 11:35 am. According to local time at 2:50 pm, Prime Minister Modi will visit the local labor camp. Thereafter, Prime Minister Modi will proceed to the Sheikh Saad Abdullah Indoor Sports Center, where he will address 4,000-5,000 people of India.
Prime Minister Modi will then attend the opening ceremony of the Gulf Cup football match. The next day, Prime Minister Modi will attend an official event and hold a formal meeting with the Emir and Crown Prince of Kuwait.
India-Kuwait relations set to heat up
Prime Minister Modi will also meet members of the Indian community living in Kuwait. Kuwait has made extensive preparations to welcome the Prime Minister. People of the Indian community are happy to see Prime Minister Modi. There are 1 million Indians in Kuwait, the largest number of foreign citizens living in Kuwait. The Prime Minister’s visit to Kuwait will bring new warmth to relations between the two countries.
These issues will be discussed by the two countries
Other issues related to energy, hydrocarbons and commercial relations will also be discussed during Prime Minister Modi’s visit. The bilateral meeting with the Emir of Kuwait will also discuss local currency trade.
