A first-year MBA student committed suicide by jumping from the seventh floor of the hostel building at the main campus of IP University in Dwarka Sector-16 in the capital Delhi. Upon receiving the information, the police rushed to the scene, seized the body and sent it for autopsy. The police said that no suicide note was found at the scene. The matter is under investigation.

Information showed that at around 6:20 pm on September 15, the Dwarka North police station received a tip-off that a student had committed suicide. When the police reached the spot, they found that Gautam Kumar, the 25-year-old son of Vinod Kumar Sinha, a resident of Raja Pakar village in Vaishali district of Bihar, had committed suicide by jumping from the seventh floor of the hotel building.

No suicide note was found at the scene

Police said the body of the deceased is currently kept at the DDU hostel and a post-mortem is being conducted. Police are continuing to investigate the matter. Police have not found any suicide note at the scene. Action will be taken against the order after the investigation is completed.
