Amit Shah said in Mendhar, ‘Earlier the owners here were afraid of Pakistan, now PAK is afraid of PM Modi’ – Amit Shah said in Mendhar that this election will end the rule of Abdullah Mufti and Nehru-Gandhi family.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah lashed out at the Congress, the Nationalist Conference and the People’s Democratic Party while addressing an election rally in Mendhar constituency in Poonch district.The Home Minister said that this election will end the rule of three families in Jammu and Kashmir.

Amit Shah said the three families – Abdullahs, Muftis and Nehru-Gandhis – had stopped democracy here. He said if the Modi government had not come to power in 2014, the Panchayat, block and district elections would not have been held.

Amit Shah said, “In Jammu and Kashmir, Abdullah, Mufti and the Nehru-Gandhi family have been spreading terrorism from the nineties till date. Today, the Narendra Modi-led BJP government has ended terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. The youth here are given laptops instead of stones.

The owners here are afraid of Pakistan

Shah said: “Do you remember how many shootings took place in Jammu and Kashmir in the 1990s? Are they still happening now? Shootings have happened here before because the owners here were afraid of Pakistan and now Pakistan is afraid of Prime Minister Modi. They don’t have the courage to shoot and if they do, they will be retaliated by shells.

“We will also offer bookings for Gurjar Bakarwal and Paharis during the promotion”

Talking about the achievements of the government, he said, “After the Modi government came to power, reservations were given to OBCs, backward classes, Gurjar Bakarwals and Paharis. When I introduced the bill, Farooq Abdullah’s party protested and started agitating the Gurjars here. When I came to Rajouri, I had promised that we would not reduce reservations for Gurjars and would also give reservations to Paharis… We fulfilled that promise. These people (Congress and NCP) said we would end reservations while we (BJP) said we would also give reservations to Gujjar Bakarwals and Paharis in the promotion.”
