Amidst the terror of wolves in UP, the people of Bhopal are now scared of jackals. A pack of jackals has been roaming around in the Borwan Park in Bairagarh (Saint Hirdaram Nagar) of Bhopal for the last 2-3 days, due to which the people who visit the park daily are scared.

Considering the seriousness of the matter, the forest department has banned people from entering the park and cages have been installed at various places in the park so that jackals can be caught. Along with this, trap cameras have also been installed so that the movement of jackals can be tracked.

How many jackals are there? It is not clear at the moment but the forest department suspects that there are about 10-15 jackals. When Aaj Tak’s team reached this park on Friday, jackals were seen roaming in the dense forest area of the park.

It is believed that due to the heavy rains in Bhopal, the water in the big lake has increased a lot, due to which jackals have escaped from the wetland and have come to the parks built inside the city.

Borwan Park is built like a dense forest and there are residential areas and a school around it, due to which people are scared. However, till now the jackals have not attacked anyone.
