After 297 days, Israel took revenge for the biggest terrorist attack. Israel entered Iran and killed Hamas Chief. Israel killed Hamas chief Ismail Haniya by entering Tehran. In fact, in the dispute between Israel and Palestine, Ismail Haniya was a name who had kept the torch of the cause of Palestine and Hamas burning for the last three decades. Even despite the extremely barbaric and cowardly terrorist attack on October 7, 2023, Ismail Haniya clearly refused to abandon the path of violent resistance in Palestine’s war against Israel. The result was that not only Ismail Haniya but almost his entire family got wiped out.

Israel has been wreaking havoc on Palestine for 9 months. Israel has left no stone unturned in converting the Gaza Strip into a graveyard. Ismail Haniya’s family was destroyed every time Israel detonated ammunition on Gaza. Ismail Haniya was the top target of the Israeli Army after the massacre carried out by Hamas terrorists in Israel on 7 October 2023. Ismail Haniya himself was living a safe life in Qatar, away from Gaza, but here in Palestine, his family was being wiped out one by one.

Now that Israel has entered the house and destroyed the enemy, different reactions are coming out from countries around the world regarding this. While on one hand some countries are supporting Israel, on the other hand countries like China and Russia have expressed their opposition. After this action of Israel, Iran has put a red flag on the dome of Jamkaran Mosque in Qom in protest. This red flag is considered a symbol of revenge, indicating rising tensions and a possible retaliatory attack against Israel.

Iran warned Israel

Israeli President Massoud Pezeshkian, whose swearing-in ceremony was in Tehran, said in a post on XTV, “The Islamic Republic of Iran will defend its territorial integrity, honor, pride and dignity and will stop the terrorist aggressors from “Will make you regret your cowardly action.”

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said in a statement, “The criminal and terrorist Zionist regime martyred our dear guest in our home and made us sad, but it has also prepared a harsh punishment for itself. “

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas strongly condemned it, calling it a “cowardly act and a dangerous incident”. The President also called on Palestinians to unite and maintain patience and determination in the face of Israeli occupation.

Israel got the support of America and Australia

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that America has no knowledge about Haniya’s death and is not involved in it. He reiterated his demand for a ceasefire and the release of Israelis held captive by Hamas in Gaza.

However, if reports are to be believed, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin while talking to the media said that if Israel is attacked, America will help it. When Austin was asked whether Israel had a hand in Haniya’s murder and whether America had information? On this Austin said that he did not have any information.

Australia has also supported Israel in this regard. Australia’s Defense Minister Richard Marles said, “This individual was central to the activities that took place on October 7, activities that we continue to condemn. Despite this, we continue to advocate for a ceasefire in the Middle East to prevent the devastation that would occur.” We definitely want to ensure that we do not see an increase in this, because the consequences will be very serious.”

These countries expressed protest

On the other hand, China condemned this step of Israel. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said, “We are extremely concerned about this incident and firmly oppose and condemn the killing. A comprehensive and permanent ceasefire should be established in Gaza as soon as possible.”

“The coincidence of this regional tension with the lack of progress in ceasefire talks in Gaza increases the complexity of the situation and indicates Israel’s lack of political will to defuse it,” the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in a statement. “It undermines the efforts made by Egypt and its allies to stop the war in the Gaza Strip and end the humanitarian suffering of the Palestinian people.”

Malaysia’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement, “Malaysia urges an immediate and thorough investigation into this murder and brings those responsible to justice. Malaysia also urges all parties to investigate the facts of the murder.” “Exercise restraint until it is confirmed. This incident underlines the urgent need to de-escalate tensions and reinforces the need for all parties to engage in constructive dialogue and seek a peaceful solution.”

Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, who has led Qatar’s mediation efforts, wrote on Twitter: “While negotiations continue in Gaza, political killings and continued targeting of civilians forces us to question How can mediation succeed when one side kills the other side’s negotiator? Peace needs serious partners.”

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said, “This is a completely unacceptable political murder and will further escalate tensions.”

Turkey’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Haniyeh’s murder once again shows that Israel’s Netanyahu government has no intention of establishing peace. “If the international community does not take action to stop Israel, the region will face even greater conflicts.”

“President Ranil Wickremesinghe strongly condemned the assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh and clearly stated that he would never justify such actions,” Sri Lanka’s Presidential Media Service said in a post on Twitter.
