Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar has made a controversial statement on Donald Trump’s historic victory in the US presidential election. He said the United States chose the wrong person. Ayer said, “I am very sad that a person of questionable character like Trump was elected president of the most powerful democracy in the world.” He should not be elected president.
Aiyar said it was very sad that such a powerful country would be led by a man who had been convicted in 34 different cases. This country elected a man who had relationships with many women and paid him to silence him to cover up his crimes. I don’t think a person with this kind of character is good for his country or the world.
