During the program, around 1,500 people in the village were fed in the presence of local saints and religious leaders. For this unique event, we sent out a special invitation to people. “This car has become a part of our family and is very lucky to us,” the letter read. We want to keep it in our memories forever, so we give it a dignified burial.

This car is lucky

The car was purchased in 2006 by Sanjay Pollara, a farmer from Padarshinga village in Rati Taluka, Gujarat. He said the car was a blessing to his family. Sanjay said the car not only improved the family’s financial situation but also increased their respect in society. The family felt the car had made a positive difference in their lives, so they decided to give it a special honor. The family worshiped the deity and then marched in a car decorated with flowers to their samadhi at the farm. His family members were very emotional while in samadhi.
