“Allah kept me alive for a reason, I am coming to supporters to Sheikh Hasina

New Delhi:

Former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said, “Allah kept me alive for a reason”, and “day will come” when those targeting members of Awami League will be brought to justice. The president of the Awami League, who fled to India after a nationwide agitation, was dropped from power, remarked when she was interacting with family members of her party leaders during a social media conversation.

He targeted Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor to the interim government in Bangladesh, and described him as a “ever loving people”. He said, “He gave small amounts of loans at high interest rates and used funds to live abroad. We could not understand their repetition, so we helped them a lot. But people did not benefit. They did well for themselves. Then developed a lust for the power that burns Bangladesh.”

The 77 -year -old leader said that Bangladesh, who has been seen as a model of development, has now turned into a “terrorist country”. “Our leaders and workers are being killed in such a way that cannot be described. Awami League, police, lawyer, journalist, artist, are all being targeted.”

The former Prime Minister accused a media clampdown in Bangladesh. “Rape, murders, dacoities, nothing can be told. And if it has been reported, the TV channel or newspaper will be targeted,” he said.

Recalling the terrible murders of his entire family including his father and first Bangladesh President Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, he said, “I lost my father, mother, brother, everyone in a day.

During the conversation, family members of the murder of Awami League workers and leaders recalled atrocities against him. “These are not humans, they will face justice. Allah will not tolerate it,” Ms. Hasina replied. When a woman told how her father was killed, the Awami League leader replied, “You would do justice, the way I do justice after my parents are killed. We will find them, the day will come. I believe, or I will not survive.”

When a supporter asked how he was, Sheikh Hasina replied, “I am alive, son.” Another supporter told him, “Allah can give you opportunity again.” He replied, “That will happen. That’s why Allah kept me alive. I am coming.”

There is also a strong comment because the interim government in Bangladesh is trying to extradite Sheikh Hasina. In his meeting on the occasion of the Bimstec summit, MD Yunus asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the extradition request situation. The Bangladesh leader also told Prime Minister Modi that Sheikh Hasina was making “inflammatory comments” in the media and “trying to destabilize the situation in Bangladesh.” We request that the Government of India take appropriate measures to stop such inflammatory statements during its country. ,

India has previously expressed concern with Bangladesh over the report of atrocities against minorities. In response, Mr. Yunus has said that the reports of attacks on minorities were highly inflated and “wholesale was fake news”.
