There is an alert of terrorist attack in Delhi on 15th August. The police have tightened security arrangements in this regard and have increased vigil everywhere. Keeping in mind the input of terrorist activities just before August 15, Delhi Police Commissioner has banned the use of aerial devices like paraglider, paramotor in Delhi. In this, there will be a complete ban on hang gliders, unmanned aerial aircraft like toys etc., unmanned aircraft systems, micro light aircraft, remotely piloted aircraft, drones, hot air balloons, small-sized piloted aircraft, quadcopters and para jumping etc.
This order has been issued by the Delhi Police Commissioner. It has been said in the order that violation of the rule will be considered a crime under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code. This ban will last for the next 15 days i.e. from August 2 to August 16.
