Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav has once again demanded DNA test of the accused in the Ayodhya rape case. BJP is attacking SP regarding this demand. Responding to this, the SP chief said that when the same government had amended the law last year that if there is a provision of seven years’ imprisonment in a case, then there should be a DNA test of the accused, then what is the wrong demand in this and what is the demand for his family? People are also demanding this.
While talking to the media, Akhilesh said, “In the Ayodhya case, if any political party, Samajwadi Party, says that DNA test should be done. What kind of Chief Minister is he? Who is giving him advice? Whose law is this amended? This is his amendment. It has been done in 2023. In which it has been said that there should be a punishment of seven years, then what is wrong in asking for it.
Taking aim at BJP, the SP chief said that these people are discriminating. They are doing this because they are seeing politics everywhere, they are seeing votes. No matter how much they do, the public has no expectations from them. When the public loses hope in any political party, then understand that the destruction of that political party is certain. They have lost, they have lost so badly, they will be treated only if the public defeats them even worse.

Even before this, Akhilesh had said that the path to justice should be found by conducting DNA test of those accused in this case and not politics should be done by merely making allegations. Whoever is guilty should be given full punishment as per the law, but if the allegations are proved false after DNA test, then the government officials involved should also not be spared. This is the demand of justice.

Regarding this, Deputy CM Keshav Maurya has targeted Akhilesh Yadav. He has alleged that the SP chief is worried about his vote bank getting angry. Deputy CM wrote, “In the case of the victim’s daughter of Congress leader Shri Akhilesh Yadav of Nishad community, first you forget PDA, DNA, now do not mislead by talking about the court. You are worried about getting the vote bank angry, the people of the state should punish the culprit and the victim.” The government is expected to fulfill its responsibility.”

Earlier, SP National General Secretary Shivpal Yadav had also supported the demand for narco test of the victim and the accused. Shivpal had said, “I strongly condemn the incident in Ayodhya and also support the demand for narco test made by Shri Pawan Pandey. Narco test of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya should also be done so that it is clear.” Who may be doing cheap politics on sensitive issues?

What is the whole incident of Ayodhya?
This incident of rape took place in the entire Kalandar police station area of Ayodhya, where after raping a 12 year old girl, the accused made an obscene video of her and then blackmailed her for a long time and kept raping her one by one. The matter came to light when the victim became two months pregnant. At present the condition of the victim is critical, she has been referred from Ayodhya to Lucknow. The police registered a case after pressure from Hindu organizations and arrested SP’s Bhadarsa city president Moeed Khan and Raju, who worked at his bakery. The victim’s mother told that when we went to the police station with the complaint, the sub-inspector told us to keep Raju’s name but remove the other name. Then after the intervention of SP, our case was registered.
