October 14, 2024: Rumors surrounding Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan’s alleged divorce in the recent Who will be Crorepati? (KBC) episode, aired on Amitabh Bachchan’s 82nd birthday. Aamir Khan and his son Junaid appeared as contestants on the Oct. 11 special, and to celebrate Big B’s milestone, a clip featuring his family was played Heartfelt montage. However, his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was noticeably absent from the tribute video, sparking widespread speculation of a possible rift within the family.
Birthday montage highlights moments with Amitabh Bachchan’s close family including his wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek, daughter Shwe Shweta and even the younger generation Navya Naveli, Agastya and Aaradhya. However, Aishwarya’s absence was noticeable as she was missing from both the old and recent family photos displayed during the tribute.

Notably, Abhishek, Shweta, Navya and Agastya all shared video messages from the legendary actor, which included visuals of Amitabh with Aaradhya, but there was no mention of Aishwarya or Aishwarya’s image. The omission has reignited long-running rumors about tensions between Aishwarya and the Bachchan family.
Earlier this year, Aishwarya took her daughter Aaradhya to attend Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s event separately from the rest of the Bachchan family wedding, which also fueled rumors of family feud.
Amid this growing speculation, Aishwarya finally posted a birthday wish for Amitabh Bachchan on social media. However, the lateness of the post further fueled the gossip surrounding their relationship dynamics.
