AI will tell which disease you have by looking at your tongue? Researchers claim that the result is 98% accurate

What if you get to know about your health without going to a doctor or getting any tests done. That is, if there is someone who can tell you by looking at you whether you are healthy or suffering from some disease. Actually, AI can do this. Researchers are working on such an AI.

Work on AI i.e. Artificial Intelligence is being done continuously all over the world. AI and robots have been used in the medical sector for a long time. Many researchers are now working to take it further.

By looking at your tongue you will be able to tell what your medical condition is

Researchers from Iraq and Australia say that they have developed an algorithm that can tell you what your medical condition is just by looking at your tongue. Researchers say that their algorithm gives 98 percent correct answers.

Ali teaches at the Middle Technical University in Baghdad and the University of South Australia. He said, ‘The cause of white tongue is enema, people who have severe COVID-19 have a bright red tongue. In this way, he has also explained other colors in detail.’

How is AI trained?

Ali says that his system works on traditional Chinese medical practice, in which diseases are detected by looking at the tongue. He told that more than 5200 pictures have been used to train the AI. For this, the research has used 60 tongue pictures, which were taken from two hospitals.

To use this AI, the patient will have to sit 8-inches away from the laptop. It will take a photo of the tongue through the webcam and examine it. Not only laptop, you can use it through smartphone as well. Time will tell how useful this AI tool proves to be in real life.
