Agra: Two brothers went to take bath in the river before attending the feast, died due to drowning in Yamuna.

On Saturday, two youths who had gone to take bath in the river in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, drowned in Yamuna due to which they died. Police said that a 17-year-old youth had gone to take a bath in the Yamuna river with his brother and drowned during this time.

According to the news agency, police said that the victims have been identified as Aryan (17) and Banshi (18), residents of Nowshera village in Firozabad district. Aryan and Banshi had come with their uncle Rajesh (40) to visit the Bateshwar temple and attend a feast organized by a local.

He told that after this he went to take bath in Yamuna river at Panchmukhi Ghat, when he slipped in deep water. Divers saved Rajesh safely, but both the brothers drowned in the river. He said that their bodies have been recovered and sent for post-mortem.

Let us tell you that just a month ago, four children had died in a similar accident in Kannauj. Four children who had gone to take bath in the pond drowned after going into deep water, due to which they died. There was mourning in the village after this incident.

In this incident, 12 year old Suhail, 11 year old Tanveer, 10 year old Junaid and 12 year old Abdullah, living in Gardabad locality of Samdhan area, had gone to play near the pond. No one knew when all four children suddenly drowned in the pond while playing.
