Agniveer, paper leak, one country-one election… what is the public opinion on the major issues of the country?

Aaj Tak conducted a ‘Mood of the Nation’ survey in collaboration with C-Voter to gauge the mood of the people of the country. In this survey, people were asked their opinion on major issues of the country, such as whether MSP should be legally guaranteed, who is responsible for paper leak and what are the three criminal laws like. Aaj Tak’s MOTN survey was conducted between 15 July and 10 August. This survey was conducted among 1,36,463 people.

What do people think about the major issues of the country?

-On the question of whether the Agniveer scheme should continue or not, 27 percent people said ‘yes’. Only 27 percent people were seen opposing it. Whereas 38 percent said that this scheme should continue with some improvements.

-In the survey, 87 percent said that there should be a legal guarantee for MSP. Whereas 9 percent disagreed with this.

-On the question of how are the three new criminal laws, 22% believed that these laws are necessary. At the same time, only 22% of the public believed that these laws are wrong. 31% said that the laws are good but need improvement.

-In the survey, 72 percent people supported ‘One Nation One Election’ while 25 percent opposed it.

-Questions were also asked about paper leak in the survey. 28% people held the central government responsible for this. While 21% people held the officials, 19% state government, 13% people who prepared the paper and sent it to the examination center and 7% people held the paper leak mafia responsible.

-76 percent of the people believed that UCC should be implemented while 16 percent opposed it.

If elections were held today, whose government would be formed in the country?

Through the ‘Mood of the Nation’ survey, an attempt was made to find out whose government would be formed if Lok Sabha elections were held in the country today. It was revealed that NDA may get 44 percent votes, India Block may get 40 percent votes and others may get 16 percent votes. If we talk about seats, NDA may get 299 seats, India Block may get 233 seats, while others may get 11 seats.
