There is terror of these two jackals in Pilibhit. In the last 4 days, jackals have attacked and injured five children at two different places. The jackal also attacked the family members who went to save these children. It also bit elderly people walking on the road. In this way, more than a dozen people have been injured by jackal attacks so far. Jackals are considered to be descendants of wolves. They are also called jackals. At present, after the attack, rumours of wolf attacks are also spreading in the entire district.

Many injured in jackal attacks

According to the information, in village Suswar of Jehanabad police station area, on Saturday morning, a jackal attacked innocent children who had gone for a walk on the canal. The jackal also attacked the villagers who had gone to save the children. In this incident, 7 people including 3 children were injured. They are being treated at Jehanabad Community Center.

Children are scared of jackal attacks. In Poli village, a jackal also attacked and injured an old man. Angered by this, the villagers surrounded the jackal and killed it. The SDM and the forest department team have reached the spot. There is an atmosphere of panic among the people due to the jackal attack.

Similarly, two days ago, children were playing in Seramau village of Puranpur tehsil. At that time, a jackal came out of the sugarcane field and attacked the children. The jackal also attacked their family members standing nearby. In this attack, a young man along with two children got injured. Overall, more than a dozen people have been injured in different jackal attacks in the last 4 days. Due to which there is an atmosphere of panic in the entire area.

That’s why jackal attacks increased

People are saying that they were attacked not by jackals but by wolves. Manish Singh, DFO of Pilibhit Tiger Reserve, said that jackal attacks are happening continuously. Jackals also belong to the wolf species. All the people who have been injured so far are not seriously injured. We are monitoring. Jackals have become aggressive because it is raining.

According to Manish Singh, the jackal’s den is filled with water. Due to which they are coming out and strolling. At this time, the jackal’s meeting period is also there. In such a situation, they become aggressive during the meeting period. At present, we are keeping an eye on them. Jackals and wolves live on the banks of rivers and canals. At present, we are also monitoring the involvement of wolves in the attack.
