bloody consequences of love

The murderer was none other than the woman’s 43-year-old lover. Who embraced death after disposing of his beloved’s dead body. Actually, this bloody story begins on 8th August.

Mother had filed a complaint
That day, Savitri Vishwakarma, a resident of Dashrangpur police post area of Kabirdham district, reached the police with a complaint and told that her daughter Sapna Vishwakarma had gone missing on 27th July. There is no trace of him. Sapna was a teacher in Baghamuda government school. Taking the woman’s complaint seriously, the police swung into action.

Mobile revealed the secret
After this the police started investigation. The footage of CCTV cameras and Sapna’s call detail records and mobile phone location were examined. From which it was revealed that Sapna had stayed in Lolesara in Bemetara district for a month till 1st August. Police traced that location. Actually, the place where Sapna’s location was coming up, was the house of Raghunath Sahu, resident of Lolesara. The police focused on him.

The landlord told the truth
On investigating Raghunath Sahu, the police came to know that he had given his house on rent to 43-year-old Ram Ashish Upadhyay, with whom Sapna was in a relationship. According to the information received from the ASP of the district, Raghunath Sahu told the police during interrogation that Ashish and Sapna lived together as tenants in his house and there used to be frequent fights between them.

Ashish told the landlord about the murder
Landlord Raghunath told the police that around 3 am on August 2, he had been called by Ashish Upadhyay, who lives in another house a short distance away. Ashish asked him to come to his house. When Raghunath reached the place, Ashish told him that he strangled Sapna to death after a dispute and sought his help to hide the body.

Scorpio car was brought from Bhilai
Raghunath was shocked to hear his words. He got nervous. Now he was also afraid of getting trapped. Therefore, I agreed to help Ashish. Then Ashish took Raghunath Sahu with him to his ancestral home in Bhilai city of Durg district and from there brought his SUV, Scorpio to Lolesara.

Sapna’s body was thrown in Keshakal valley
After this, both of them together wrapped Sapna’s body in a sheet and then put it in the car and took it to Keshkal valley on Raipur-Jagdalpur road, 250 km from Bemetara, and threw Sapna’s body in that valley. After this both of them left from there.

Ashish’s dead body found in the river
Meanwhile, a dead body of a person was found in Shivnath river in Bemetara on Sunday. When the police took out the body and carried out the identification process, they found out that it was that of Sapna’s murdered lover Ashish Upadhyay. Police said that prima facie it seems that he committed suicide by jumping into the river due to fear of arrest in a murder case.

Bemetara District Police is investigating
Sapna’s partially decomposed body was recovered from Keshkal valley on Monday and the SUV used in the crime was also seized, police said. Landlord Raghunath Sahu has been arrested for helping in this case and the case has been handed over to Bemetra police for further investigation.
