Former Maharashtra Chief Minister and Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan
All parties are busy preparing for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Meanwhile, there are only 10 days left until the election. In such a situation, party and opposition leaders attack each other. Meanwhile, former Maharashtra chief minister and Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan on Sunday targeted the BJP. He attacked the PPP and accused it of turning the election into a communal one.
Prithviraj Chavan will contest from Kaladnam constituency in Maharashtra. Meanwhile, Congress leaders also expressed their views on the Union chief minister after the elections. He also said that the Congress party’s crushing defeat in Haryana cannot be compared with Maharashtra. He expressed confidence that Maha Vikas Aghadi will get majority in the Maharashtra assembly elections.
Targeting Prime Minister Modi
The Congress candidate from Karadnam told Maha Vikas Aghadi that the chief minister’s face was that only the largest party in the alliance would select him after the elections. He said it was an age-old tradition to nominate the chief minister after elections by the largest party in the alliance. Meanwhile, Congress leaders have accused the BJP of changing the elections to public elections.
During this period, Prithviraj Chavan was also seen attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was trying to popularize elections due to failure in development. A day earlier, Congress leaders had also reacted to the attack on Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Addressing a rally in Karad, Shah said the Congress was not doing any work here.
Amit Shah didn’t know Kalad Chavan
Speaking to ANI, Chavan said, “I can tell them what I did during my tenure as chief minister. I got an earthquake research center set up by the central government, which will become a university.” It would be very foolish to say that nothing happened. He said the people of Karad knew what was being done for them. Amit Shah did not know Kalad. Whatever was written for him, he simply read.
