‘After BJP comes, UCC will be implemented in Jharkhand, people should vote and change anti-youth government’: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah at rally in Jharkhand

On the eve of the Jharkhand Assembly elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived here on November 3 to attend a rally. Addressing the rally, the Home Minister announced that if the BJP comes to power in Jharkhand, the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) will be implemented in the state. Tribal communities will not be included in the state’s UCC. Clarifying his reaction on the UCC issue in the state, he said people from tribal communities will remain outside its ambit.

He said the false propaganda given by the JMM, the Mukti Morcha government in Jharkhand, cannot be trusted at all. The information they are spreading that people from tribal communities will also be included in UCC is completely wrong. Furthermore, the culture and rights of the people of the tribal communities will be protected by the BJP government and will not be affected. This propaganda by the Jharkhand government is completely baseless.

Besides your family, who else have you done something good for?

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said all voters in Chhatra will have to utilize their voting rights to elect the new government of Jharkhand. He said the Hemant Soren government was anti-Dalit. Not only that, this administration is particularly anti-youth. He said I came to Jharkhand to ask Soren Babu, apart from his own family, which other poor people had he taken care of in the past 5 years?

Addressing the rally, he said if he has helped any poor person in the past five years, please come to us with his list. Describing the work of Prime Minister Modi, he said that in the past 10 years, the country’s poor people have been provided with free housing, electricity connections, gas cylinders, toilets and treatment up to Rs 5 lakh.
