After Bangladesh, a huge mob attacked KFC outlet in Pakistan, 10 arrested

Ten persons were arrested by the police after the police attacked a global fast food chain at the Defense Housing Authority of Karachi, Pakistan on Tuesday evening.

According to Bahadurbad Police Station House Officer Naved Somro, the attackers demanded the closure of the restaurant and then damaged the complex with chairs, sticks and stones. While an FIR was filed, no arrests were made in this case as per dawn.

The violence follows a strike in Karachi organized by traders, which is to align with a global call for solidarity with the Palestinians and oppose the action in Gaza, causing a significant loss of life since October 7, 2023.
