Last night, when the defendant went to a local home, he surrounded and captured the younger brother of a young man who had escaped from marriage, and took him hostage to his home. There he was beaten with sticks, belts and kicks. Even after beating him all night, the young man’s brother was tied to a telephone pole on the roadside the next morning. He was then beaten again and taken to the police station.
Dataganj district police officer KK Tiwari said it was a case of feud. As a result, the young man was tied to a pole and severely beaten.
