The rift reportedly started when Rajkumar asked for a change in Adnan’s voice. Rajkumar felt that the song sung by Adnan was not suitable for lip syncing. Adnan’s voice was strong and the actor’s expressions did not suit him. If sources are to be believed, T-Series and music directors Sachin-Jigar had approached Adnan. He wanted Adnan to sing the romantic song in ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ and it would have been like a comeback for him. Because after nine years he would sing any Bollywood song. However, Rajkumar had already shot the song with another singer’s voice. So he refused to do it again.

In a conversation with HT, Adnan said that he last sang the song Bhar Do Jholi in Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Now he will sing it in Vicky Vidya’s video.
