The Adani Group on Monday categorically stated that neither the group nor any of its companies or subsidiaries have issued any press statements related to its ongoing projects and operations in Kenya.
An Adani Group spokesperson claimed that certain “vested interests with malicious intent” were circulating “multiple false press releases”, including one titled “Adani Group condemns baseless allegations and threats” relating to the group’s operations in Kenya.
“We strongly condemn this fraud and urge everyone to completely ignore these false and fraudulent reports,” an Adani Group spokesperson said in a statement. “We will take legal action against anyone involved in spreading false claims.”
The group said all official press releases are published on its website.
“We encourage media and influencers to verify facts and sources before publishing or broadcasting any article or news on Adani Group,” the spokesperson wrote in a brief statement. (ANI)
