Rahul Gandhi has been hunting the country’s prominent industrialist Gautam Adani for years. Their target was to use Adani as a pretext to target the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has been speaking out against Adani on various platforms. Now, one of his colleagues in the Congress, Pawan Kheda, who is also the party spokesperson, has made a video telling Rahul Gandhi that whatever you say is right. During his argument, he addressed Rahul as “Sir” and Rahul too seemed happy and satisfied with his words.
The video was posted on X on October 28 and is still a pinned post on Rahul’s account. His title is – “Adaniba Super Syndicate”. Congress media and publicity chief Pawan Kheda took the help of SEBI chief Madhabi Buch to prove that Adani is a villain. The gist of what he said was that Madhavi Buch was installed in SEBI to save Adani.
Rahul said the institutional collapse has now given rise to a more dangerous form of nepotism, the Adanibha Super Syndicate. The current government no longer just promotes monopolies, but actively concentrates the country’s wealth in the hands of a few. The question is not whether what Rahul Gandhi said was wrong or right. But Rahul Gandhi’s intentions are questionable as while on one hand he attacks Adani, on the other hand all leaders of his party, including Rahul’s close associates, welcome Adani with open arms.
1- If Rahul Gandhi had solid evidence, then why didn’t he go to court against Adani?
Pawan Kheda said in the video that he also narrated everything by quoting the whistleblower. They have solid evidence. If Congress has so much evidence then why don’t they go to court? It is a major crime for us to have information and evidence about someone’s crime and not share that evidence with the courts and other agencies. Suppose they distrust government institutions, but do they also shy away from the courts? The same institutions, especially the police and courts, with the help of Congress, Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party implemented the liquor scam. The fraud ringleader had to go to jail. So why can’t Congress file a complaint against Adani in the courts or the police? Is Congress afraid of Adani? Or is his purpose to slander and blackmail Adani? And to help maintain pressure on the Modi government?
2- Why did Rahul increase his investments in the stock market controlled by the “crook” SEBI?
Rahul Gandhi has repeatedly raised questions about the relationship between SEBI and Adani. The Hindenburg Report investigation was also considered questionable in this regard. If any organization is seen to have made such a mistake, then they should stop investing millions of rupees and making profits there. This is necessary because tens of millions of people in this country believe what Congress says. The Nehru family had confidence. When these people hear Rahul Gandhi calling SEBI corrupt, they may lose faith in the stock market. But when they see Rahul Gandhi is earning crores of rupees through the same SEBI. As per the shares registered in the election nomination filed by Rae Bareli Lok Sabha, his portfolio is worth Rs 43.3 crore as on March 15, 2024 and the value of his portfolio in the stock market as on August 12, 2024 It has been increased to Rs 48 lakh.
3- Public and other state governments are also waiting for an honest step from Rahul.
Common people don’t believe Rahul Gandhi’s words as his party seems to have made a mistake with Gautam Adani. Rahul Gandhi has been saying repeatedly for years that Adani and Ambani are looting the country, but the Congress government on the other hand is not ready to listen to him. Or they deliberately apply double standards to capitalists.
Adani Foundation’s donation of Rs 100 crore to the Congress government in Telangana has been in the news. The Adani Group has donated Rs 100 crore to the Telangana government to set up a skill university aimed at developing industry-specific capabilities in the youth. The donation came under heavy criticism from opposition parties, with both the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party criticizing the Congress party for double standards. Amit Malviya, head of the information technology cell of the BJP, took a jibe at the Congress party in a post, “Rahul Gandhi has been shouting ‘Adani Adani’ all day but Troon Gana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy went his own way and accepted donation from Gautam Adani “It must feel very bad to be treated like a doormat by our own Chief Minister.
This is not the first time Adani has worked for the Congress government. Adani had significant investments in the then Congress governments in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. On October 7, 2022, in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, Gautam Adani Group and the Ashok Gehlot government announced an investment of 650 million rupees in Rajasthan. Then Gautam Adani said we also worked in the old government of Ashok Gehlot. This is nothing new. Karnataka Industries Minister MB Patil said Karnataka is open to investment from the Adani Group.
The public is confused because of the conflict between Rahul and other members of the Congress party over the Adani issue. Therefore, despite Rahul Gandhi’s various speeches, the Congress did not gain any advantage in the elections. Otherwise, Rajiv Gandhi in 1989 and the subsequent UPA government in 2014 lost power due to similar corruption allegations. If Rahul Gandhi can honestly prove Adani’s corruption and the Modi government’s collusion, then maybe the public will side with him. Only Rahul Gandhi’s intentions are questionable now!
