Well-known actor Sameer Soni, who is seen in supporting roles, recently spoke openly on the increase in fees by actors. Sameer also expressed his opinion on the way actors get luxurious treatment on the sets in Bollywood and the expenses involved in it. Sameer said- Choreographer and producer-director Farah Khan and Karan Johar are two people in the industry who give the actors their asking price. Bollywood films are neither able to earn money nor are they able to achieve returns.

Sameer exposed
Sameer was last seen in the web series ‘Made in Heaven’. In a conversation with Ujjwal Trivedi, Sameer said- I want to tell Farah and Karan that if your expenses are increasing in making a film, then you people are responsible for it. You yourself are signing a star for Rs 100 crore and then later you yourself are saying that actors ask for a lot of fees. There is something lacking in you too. Otherwise, there are many actors who can work for Rs 1 crore or even Rs 50 lakh.

Karan had presented his side
Some time ago, Karan Johar had talked about the expenses of actors traveling and staying on the sets. He said that top actors ask for very high fees. Farah Khan had accompanied him. Farah had said that firstly so much money is spent in making a film, on top of that the actors demand so much fees. Crores of rupees are spent in making a film. Sometimes even money is wasted in things.

Rajiv had said this
Actor Rajiv Khandelwal had also said on the increased fees of stars by Karan Johar and Farah Khan – The actors who are charging Rs 35 crores, their films do not seem to open even at Rs 3.5 crores. How do these people agree to pay so much fees to actors? 35 No, I won’t even give them Rs 30 crore. Earlier these same people used to demand Rs 25 crores. It used to be fine then, because people liked Bollywood films, but now even with Rs 35 crore, their films are not running. First you pay the asking price to the actors, then come in the interview and talk about their increased fees and salary. This is not right.
