BJP leader files complaint against Rahul Gandhi.
The BJP has lodged a complaint against Rahul Gandhi with the Delhi Police over a scuffle between Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi and two BJP MPs Pratap Sarangi and Mukesh Rajput . Three NDA MPs including Anurag Thakur and Bansuri Swaraj have lodged a police complaint against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. After registering the complaint, MP Anurag Thakur said he has provided information about the entire incident that took place in the Assembly today.
We have lodged complaints under Sections 109, 115, 117, 125, 131 and 351, he said. Section 109 is about attempted murder. Article 117 Intentionally causing serious injury. A complaint has been filed on behalf of the Vadodara MP.

Former minister Pratap Chandra Sarangi injured in melee
Earlier in the day, former minister Pratap Chandra Sarangi was involved in a clash between opposition and NDA MPs at the Lok Sabha entrance for allegedly insulting Ambed Card (BR Ambedkar) was injured. The BJP accused Rahul Gandhi of pushing a senior member, but the Congress leader rejected the charge.
Charges of “personal assault and provocation”
Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said BJP MP Mukesh Rajput was also injured in the melee. Prime Minister Narendra Modi called Sarangi and Rajput to inquire about their health after they were injured in Parliament House, sources said. A senior police officer said the police had received a complaint and were investigating the matter. He was accused of “physical assault and provocation” during the melee in parliament, an official said.
