New Delhi:
Crediting Pakistan for its comments on the Waqf (Amendment) Act, which was passed by Parliament on 4 April and the President’s consent was a day later, India said that the country has not standing on the issue and they should look at their own “aristocratic records” to protect the rights of minorities.
“We strongly reject the motivated and baseless comments made by Pakistan on the Waqf Amendment Act enacted by the Parliament of India. Pakistan has no folk standy to comment on the case that has done better work to see its own disgusting records to see its own disgusting records for India.”
The Waqf Bill obtained the President’s node on 5 April, after comfortable, after a hot debate, after a hot debate. The government has said that the Act has said that this act is about property and management, not religion, and argued that a large amount of land was occupied in the name of Waqf.
Many of these properties, the government said, was misbehaved and used to line up some pockets instead of helping the poor and large communities.

However, the opposition alleged that the BJP -led government was trying to reduce the constitution, discredit and decrease minorities and divide the society, effectively launching a “4D attack” on the Constitution.
AIMIM head Asaduddin Owaisi also symbolically “Thor” a copy of the bill during a debate in the Lok Sabha.
“If you read history, you will see that he (Mahatma Gandhi) said about the laws of white South Africa, ‘My conscience does not accept it’ and he tore it. Like Gandhi, like Gandhi, I am also tearing this law,” he said.
Violent protests have also taken place against the Act, especially in West Bengal, and at least three people have died.
Provisions
According to the Act, trusts created by Muslims under any law will no longer be considered a waqf. Only those who have been practicing Muslims for at least five years can dedicate the property to Waqf and women should achieve their legacy before declaring such assets as Waqf – with special provisions for widows, divorced women and orphans.
The Act states that above the post of Collector, a senior state government official investigated the government properties claimed as WAQF and would say that whether any property belongs to the WAQF board or government in the case of dispute. Any government property identified as Waqf will be closed for this, it has been said in the Act.
Non-Muslims will also be made members of Central and State Waqf Boards.
