In Meerut, a speeding van hit three friends standing on the road. In this accident, one friend died and two friends were injured. The van dragged the deceased for a long distance. At the time of the accident, the deceased was standing on the roadside and talking to three friends. Then this happened.

The incident was caught by a CCTV camera installed there. Its video is going viral. Police are searching for the van based on the video. The incident took place on Sardhana Road in Kankarkheda Kheda police station area in Meerut. Vikrant Rana, who hails from Muzaffarnagar and lives in Sainik Vihar in Kankarkheda area, was a manager in a private company on Monday evening. At 10:00, we were ready to have dinner at Golu Dhaba on the highway with our friends Raju, Nirdesh and Chirag.

All the friends parked their cars in front of the dhaba and stood behind and started talking. Then a van came from the sadhana side at high speed and hit Vikrant, Nirdesh and Chirag. Due to the collision, Vikrant was dragged to the van. While Nirdesh and Chirag fell to the side. After the accident, the driver did not stop the car.

It is understood that Vikrant died on the spot. Three friends were taken to the hospital where Vikrant was declared dead. Vikrant’s father, Vikram Singh Rana, was a soldier. He died two years ago. He had two sons. The elder son, Nishant Rana, is serving in the army in Rajasthan. The younger son, Vikrant Rana, 26, works as a manager in a private company.

The entire incident was captured on a CCTV camera installed there. The video is now going viral on social media. It is understood that Vikrant got married seven months ago in Saharanpur and was not doing well after his wife’s death. The police said the identity of the van driver is being ascertained. He will be arrested soon. Other CCTV cameras in the area are also being monitored. The van was not clearly identified in the video.
