Abdullah Azam, son of jailed senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan, has requested the court to give him time to arrange compensation of Rs 10,000. In fact, a case related to Abdullah Azam Khan’s double PAN card is pending in the MP-MLA court of Rampur. The court has awarded a compensation of Rs 10,000 to Abdullah Azam’s side in this regard. Abdullah, on his part, has sought time from the court to deposit this compensation. He said that he needs some time to arrange the money.

On this issue, Senior Public Prosecutor Amarnath Tiwari said that the case related to Abdullah Azam Khan’s double PAN card is pending in the court of the Honourable Special Judicial Judge MP-MLA (Rampur). The witnesses have appeared in court to testify. The defense filed an application for withdrawal of cross-examination, which was rejected by the court on the 9th. The reason is that they filed the application only to delay the court hearing and demanded compensation of Rs. 10,000.

After that the paper is due. The defence filed an application saying that Rs 10,000 cannot be arranged. Time should be given to arrange it. The court has fixed September 18 for hearing.

When asked how long it would take, the prosecutors said they had originally requested two weeks, but the case file had reached the last minute and the testimony had been completed, so the court set the date on the 18th.

It is learnt that BAJO leader Akash Saxena filed a case against former MP Abdullah Azam, who allegedly obtained two PAN cards made based on fake birth certificates and used both the cards.
