The clarification has come after an FIR was registered against the person who made objectionable comments on Olympic player Vinesh Phogat in Aligarh, UP. He has apologized in the matter by releasing a video. The person has said that ‘a mistake has been made by mistake, please forgive me with a big heart.’
The accused is said to be a local worker of the ruling party. His name is Vishal Varshney. He had made indecent and indecent comments on a Facebook post related to Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat. In protest against this, people of Jat community and women associated with Samajwadi Party created a ruckus. They raised slogans at Quarsi police station demanding action against Vishal. After which the police registered an FIR against the accused.

Let us tell you that Vishal Varshney’s indecent comment on Facebook came after Vinesh Phogat was disqualified in the Olympics. Phogat was declared ineligible for the Paris Olympics due to being 100 grams overweight.
Accused Vishal apologized
After the uproar escalated, Vishal Varshney released a video and apologized. He said in his video that he apologizes to Vinesh Phogat, Jat community and everyone who has been hurt by his wrong comment. According to Vishal, I have committed this mistake by mistake. I hope that you all will show big heart and forgive me. I have never made such a mistake in my entire life, please forgive me.
FIR has been registered
In the matter, ASP Amrit Jain (Aligarh) said that on August 8, in the Quarsi police station area, a case of making an objectionable comment on Facebook about an Olympic player had come to his notice. Taking immediate cognizance of this, a case was registered under relevant sections of the IT Act as per the complaint received. Advance legal action is being taken by collecting all the technical evidence.
It is worth noting that everyone is shocked by the disqualification of Vinesh Phogat after ensuring the silver medal in the Paris Olympics. Wrestling association, wrestlers and political parties have expressed grief over this. Everyone is encouraging Phogat. In such a situation, there is anger among the people due to making cheap comments on the Indian player.
