In Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, a man picked up a 2-year-old girl who was sleeping next to her family and ran away. But, hearing the crying sound of the girl, the family members woke up and chased the man. Seeing this, the accused threw the girl in the drain and ran away. The family members created an uproar after the girl’s body was found in the drain. On the complaint of the family members, the police have registered an FIR and arrested an accused.
The matter is of Sadar police station area of Meerut. Some families live in the slum here. It is being told that when the family was sleeping outside the slum. During this time, a 2 year old girl was also sleeping next to her family. During this time, late at night a young man picked up the girl and took her away. When the girl started crying, the family woke up. As soon as the noise was heard, the family members and some people ran after the accused to save the girl.

Girl’s body found in drain
But he did not stop. After this he suddenly disappeared and threw the girl in a drain there. Meanwhile, when the girl was searched, her body was found in the drain. People living there told that the young man took the girl away and people ran after him, then seeing the conflict, he immediately threw the girl in the drain. CCTV of the incident has also surfaced, in which the accused is seen lifting the girl.
SP City said this in the matter
Meerut SP City Ayush Vikram said that a person took away a two-year-old girl from Sadar Bazaar police station. When the family members chased him, he threw the girl in the drain. Due to this the girl died. On the basis of the complaint lodged by the family members, a 20 year old man named Moise has been arrested and a case has also been registered. The girl’s body has been sent for post-mortem. Further action will be taken according to the post mortem report.
