A shocking incident has come to light in Kerala. A person died while eating idli. Actually, the person died due to eating too much idli.

Regarding the incident, the police said that a 49-year-old man died in Valayar after choking after eating idli during an eating competition organised during the Onam festival on Saturday.

According to the news agency report, he said that the competition was organized by a local club. Police said, ‘While participating in the competition, a person named Suresh choked while eating idli and the audience tried to save him and somehow removed the idli from his throat.’

Police said that after his condition deteriorated, he was taken to a nearby hospital where he died. Walayar police have registered a case of unnatural death in this matter.

A person died after eating Rasgulla

Let us tell you that a case of death due to food was also reported from Jharkhand recently. A young man died while eating rasgulla in East Singhbhum. This incident took place in Patmahulia village of Galudih police station area.

Amit Singh’s uncle Rony Singh, a 16-year-old minor resident of this place, used to work in Angul, Odisha. He had returned home after 3 months. There was an atmosphere of happiness in the house due to his uncle’s arrival. Amit had gone to Galudih railway station by bike to pick up his uncle. On his return, he bought rasgulla from a sweet shop on his uncle’s request and returned home.

After distributing rasgulla to everyone on reaching home, Amit himself started eating rasgulla in excitement. Then suddenly the rasgulla got stuck in his throat. After a while, he started feeling uneasy. He started having trouble breathing. The family took him to the hospital, but the doctors declared him dead.
