Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed Rajya Sabha on Wednesday, a day after he mounted a scathing attack on the Congress and Leader of Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi during his two-hour long speech in the Lok Sabha.

“People gave mandate to NDA for third time,” PM said in his initial remarks adding that there was effort to blackout NDA victory in the recently held Lok Sabha Elections 2024..

The first session of 18th Lok Sabha, which began on June 24, had seven sittings, which saw 539 Lok Sabha members take oath or make affirmation over the first two days. The Rajya Sabha session is expected to be adjourned indefinitely today.
