A shocking case of rape has come to light from Samastipur in Bihar. Where on Monday, a vendor raped a girl on the pretext of helping her at the railway station. After the incident, the girl told her ordeal to a policeman on the platform. Immediately, the police conducted a search operation and arrested the accused. The victim is a resident of a village in Sakri police station area of ​​Madhubani district, who had run away from home alone after being angry with her mother’s scolding.

The victim told the police that she was angry with her mother’s scolding and boarded a train and reached Samastipur. After getting off the train, she was sitting on platform number four. During this time, a tea vendor at the station noticed her. The vendor started talking to the girl on the pretext of helping her. The girl thought that the vendor was helping her and she got convinced by his words and went to the last corner of the platform. Then, seeing the opportunity, the vendor raped her and fled.

After this, the victim saw a railway policeman and told him about the incident. The police started searching for the accused and after some time the girl identified the vendor and the police arrested him. The accused was identified as Mohammad Lal, a resident of Satanpur.

Railway DSP Roshan Kumar Gupta said that the accused has been arrested after getting the victim’s medical checkup done. The family has been informed about the incident. A case has been registered against the accused in the GRP police station and he has been arrested. After this incident, police patrolling has been increased at Samastipur railway station.
