A gang of high-tech thieves who used to fly by plane and carried out their crimes from Varanasi to Mumbai were caught in Mirzapur.

In Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, police have uncovered a gang of thieves who used to steal from airplanes. After the theft, he could only return by plane. Currently, five gangsters from the gang have been captured by the police. Hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of stolen jewelry and valuables have been recovered.

Mirzapur police said that immediately after investigating the theft, two bikers and three car riders were caught at Pachhravan turn in Chunar. After interrogation, all five people admitted to the crime of theft. He also told reporters that they used to drive around to inspect locked houses during the day and commit thefts at night. Apart from Mirzapur, the gang is also active in Mumbai, Varanasi, Badoshi and Sonbhadra.

The four arrested accused Natu Prasad, Akash Patel, Amit Rajbal and Manoj Seth are residents of Varanasi district. Meanwhile, one of the accused, Suraj Ramashray Yadav, is a resident of Palghar in Maharashtra. A dozen cases were registered in Mirzapur and Varanasi.

Sixteen cases were registered against Natthu Prasad and four cases against Akash Patel at various police stations. The police seized 120 kilograms of brass utensils, a large amount of gold and silver jewelry, lock picking tools, etc.

In this regard, Police Commissioner Abhinandan said that these people also committed thefts in Mumbai. They had taken a flight to Mumbai to commit theft. That is why we are now also contacting Mumbai Police. Currently, five defendants have been arrested and imprisoned.
