A man who left home to get Rakhi tied by his sister wearing a police uniform and badge started checking vehicles and extorting money on the way. Meanwhile, the police vehicle reached there. Seeing the police, the man in uniform started running away from there. Then the police personnel chased him and caught him. The story told by the man during interrogation behind becoming a fake sub-inspector is shocking.
When the police brought him to the police station and questioned him, he told his name as Shravan Kumar. He is a resident of Roshi of Bochahan. He told that he had bought the uniform from Sitamarhi. He wanted to get a Rakhi tied by his sister in the inspector’s uniform. That is why he bought the uniform. This was the first time he did such a thing after leaving home and was also caught.
He was extorting money from vehicles by posing as a police inspector
In fact, the police arrested a fake inspector who was checking vehicles in Sharquddinpur of Bochahan police station area on Sunday night. An FIR has been registered against the accused on the statement of ASI Nihal Ranjan Kumar. After this, the police presented him in the court, from where he was sent to jail.

Additional Superintendent of Police East Muzaffarpur Sahriyar Akhtar said that on Sunday evening, information was received that a person was extorting money from vehicles by claiming to be a sub-inspector. A patrol team was sent to the spot. On seeing the police, the accused started running. He was chased and caught. Arrested Shravan Kumar told during interrogation that he had come home on Rakhi. He wanted to get a Rakhi tied by his sister in the sub-inspector’s uniform. That is why he bought the uniform. He works in small finance in Sitamarhi.
