Hamas said on Thursday that the announcement by President Emmanuel Macron that France could recognize a Palestinian kingdom by June, was a “important step”, when Israel’s Foreign Minister slammed the plan.
Hamas officer Mahmud Mardavi told AFP, “We welcome statements about their country’s readiness to recognize the state of Palestine by French President Emmanuel Macron.”
