The Youth Congress on Saturday staged strong demonstrations under the “Job Do, Nasha Nahi” movement in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Senior Congress leader and former deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot and state Congress president Govind Singh Dotasara also participated in the demonstration. During this period, Sachin Pilot was vehemently targeting the BJP. Apart from this, he also defended Rahul Gandhi over the ongoing controversy in Parliament.
Referring to the melee controversy in Parliament, Pilot said: “We know our leaders. Leaders like Rahul Gandhi who have forgiven his father’s murderer cannot fight against anyone. Pilot targets Bharatiya Janata Party
Targeting the BJP, Sachin Pilot said the government had not taken any concrete steps to provide employment opportunities in the past 12 months. “The Youth Congress is trying to wake up the government,” he said. Pilot accused the central government of committing violence and filing false cases in the Assembly. He also said that the BJP leaders insulted the founder of the Constitution Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar in Parliament.
Emphasis on employment and addiction recovery
Sachin Pilot questioned the employment situation in the state and said the government had promised to provide 400,000 jobs, but the actual situation was far from this. He said, “I can’t even see 400 jobs, let alone 400,000 jobs.” Pilot emphasized that the issues of young people must be given priority. He said that the government and society must take concrete measures to Make the country drug-free and provide employment opportunities to the youth.
Dotasara files charges against center
PCC president Govind Singh Dotasara also attacked the central government and the BJP during the Youth Congress demonstration. Targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said 20 million jobs were promised annually 11 years ago. So far, 220 million jobs were supposed to be provided, but the youth have received nothing. Dotasara has leveled serious charges against the BJP for spreading hatred and insulting the Constitution.
