Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda will convene a meeting of chief ministers of states across the country today. The Ministry of Health has requested to attend the meeting. The meeting was held virtually. During this period, discussions will be held with chief ministers of all states on the issue of TB elimination.
Health Minister JP Nadda will participate in the meeting virtually at 4 pm. The meeting launched a 100-day intensive campaign to make India TB-free. This will also be discussed. Apart from this, information will also be provided on the Centre’s ongoing campaign to make India TB Free.
At the meeting, JP Nadda will also get feedback from state chief ministers on the campaign. Among other things, how his state is carrying out its campaign to eliminate TB in India. Information about this will also be obtained.

Ongoing activities of the center
Union Health Minister JP Nadda launched a nationwide campaign to reduce tuberculosis cases and mortality in Panchkula, Haryana. The 100-day TB eradication campaign is being implemented in 347 districts in 33 states. Wherever the incidence of this disease is high.
