BJP MP pushed me, made fun of us: Mallikarjun Kharge

Malikajun Haq speaks at a press conference.

On the Ambedkar controversy and parliamentary melee, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said, We were going to the House with Congress members, the BJP members came to Makar Dwar and stopped us forcefully, there were women MPs with us, I will not tell anyone. I’m not qualified to push. The BJP MP also pushed me and I couldn’t keep my balance and was sitting there. I stood up and tried to speak and that’s why I stood up again. We have female MPs and male MPs around us who are causing disturbances and making fun of us.

Earlier, Haq said Mit Shah’s statement against Baba Saheb Ambedkar was painful. He held a press conference yesterday without any factual basis. At least he knew it before he abused Nehruji and insulted Ambedkarji. What I am trying to say is that everything he has said about Baba Saheb and Jawahar Lal Nehru so far is a lie. If I have time in Parliament, today I would like to tell about Baba Saheb Ambedkar’s letter. Baba Saheb lived on Alipur Road and from there he wrote a letter to a friend clearly explaining how the 1952 elections were held.

we’re not trying to mess up

‘We are not trying to create any disruption to what is happening on the House floor today,’ Hager said. We protested for 14 consecutive days. We have the issue of Adani and when the constitution was discussed, Amit Shah also separated the interpretation of God and made fun of Ambedkar. We want the Prime Minister to sack Amit Shah but he will not do so. That’s why we went to Parliament to protest.
